I actually did some research and I found out that almost half of the 50 people that died while on the "low salt" diet were heavy smokers. however, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that low salt diets WERE actually bad for you. i work in the fitness industry and I've been hearing for years about clients that have gone on low-salt diets in attempts to lose weight and have ended up w/ heart complications. most sites these days even post disclaimers about going on low-salt diets when if you're trying to lower your body fat. look at the home page of http://www.flattenstomach.com it even has a disclaimer about going on a low-saltAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
